Tho'  he'd  doubt  a  time  or  two.
 
 

Matthew,  he  was  Jewish
And  was  also  called  ' Levi '
Mark  wrote  the  second  Gospel,
Luke  the  third  for  you  and  I.
 
 

Peter  wrote  of  Christians
'Bout  their  conduct  as  a  saint
James  was  called  'The  Just'
And  oh  forgotten  now,  he  ain't.
 
 

But  in  my  King  James  Bible
There's  no  doubt  at   all  for  me
The  one  thing  that  I'm  sure  of
Every  word's  Inspired,  you  see.
 
 

God's  Holy  Word,  my  Bible
Is  infallable,  it's  true
Been  tried  and  prooved  and  tested
Oh  God's  Word  is  sharpened  too.
 
 

I   love  to  read  Paul's  letters,
Had  a  burden  for  man's  soul
He  preached  many  a  sermon
Spread  the  Gospel  was  his  goal.
 
 

Moses  read  commandments
Job  he  suffered  to  the  touch
But  God  in  turn,  He  blessed  him
And  He  gave  him  back  so  much.
 
 

Psalms  had  many  writers
And  I  love  to  read  them  so
Proverbs,  lots  of  warnings
Tells  us  much  that  we  should  know.
 
 

Genesis  and  Exodus,
Leviticus  not  small
Recording  all  beginnings
And  Redemption  and  the  law.
 
 

One  and  Two  Corinthians
Again,  Apostle  Paul
He  taught  about  the  doctrines
Now  of  Grace  instead  of  law.
 
 

Paul  wrote  many  letters
From  behind  a  prison  door
Ephesians  for  example
Oh  he  wrote  so  many  more.
 
 

And  I  love  Revelation,
Apostle  John  the  writer  be
When  he  was  in  the  Spirit
Many  things  that  he  did  see.
 
 

The  greatest  Book  e're  written
Oh  it's  powerful  when  heard
I  could  not  do  without  it
Yes  I  truly  love  God's  Word.
