This  time  I  have  no  pleas
But  just  one  thing  to  say
As  I  kneel  upon  my  knees
Is  "Thank  You"  God,  today.
 
 

For  I  know  that  over  time
I've  asked  for  quite  a  lot
Confessed  to  sins  of  mine
But  "Thank  You's"  I  forgot.
 
 

"Thank  You"  oh  Dear  Lord
For  answers  I've  received
Thank  You  who's  so  adored
From  the  day  I  first  Believed.
 
 

Thank  you  for  Jesus,  too
He  bled  for  me,  that  day
He  made  my  heart  brand  new
And  washed  my  sins  away.
 
 

"Thank  You"  "Thank  You"  so!
That's  all  I  came  to  say
I   'ask'   so  much,  I  know
But  not  this  time,  today.
 
 

"Thank  You"  for  everything
You  changed  my  heart  you  see
For  the  happiness  you  bring
"Thank  You"  Lord,  from  me.
