Well, Matthew preached
and he was heard
There was Mark -
a Believer too
Luke and John
never doubted the Word
They were doing
what Soldiers do!
Now the letters
Paul wrote of Jesus
Thru' God's Holy
Spirit, pen in hand
In prison and
out but always told us
Spread the Gospel
of Christ to man!
Timothy went to
tell the others-
Trod that dusty
road so well
He was helping
those soldier brothers
Preach the Truth
he loved to tell!
Now James, he
wrote a Chapter
Was a servant
of God, we know
Said 'resist temptation'
and then after
Peace and joy,
it will over-flow!
Peter had a
wife, could he leave her?
For the Lord
said 'Follow Me'
He surrendered his
life, a Believer
Many wonders would
this man see!
Jude in the
Bible, he had kinfolk
Was a brother
to James, it's true
A warning to
the saints, he spoke
Said the wicked
man evil will do!
Peter, James, and
John and Paul
Each carried the
'Gospel sword'
Matthew, Mark and
that's not all
They were 'Soldiers'
for the Lord!
