OH
JUST TO HEAR
MAMA
LAUGH
Oh
just to hear my mother's laugh
Was
such a joy to me
Tho'
at times she was very shy
Mama
could laugh outrageously !
Her
laugh, it's true, 'twas all her
own,
Impossible
to imitate
So
full of joy and happiness
I
can't even demonstrate !
'Tis
true it started small,
Then
grew into a 'roll'
At
times would last a while !
-
Long enough to warm my soul.
But
mama's laugh, it suited her
And
always fun to hear
The
memory of my mother's laugh
'Tis
one I hold so dear.
Now
when I think of mama's laugh,
I
often close my eyes
And
pretend that I can almost hear
What
was such a sweet surprise.
If
e're I'm asked without a doubt
To
name my favorite sound
'My
mother's laugh' is my reply
Tho'
on earth she can't be found.
Yet
I've a memory, oh so clear
Of
mama's precious laugh
'Tis
sure that it was but her own
True
joy, it's aftermath.
I
know that now where she abides
My
mama's laugh is there
In
Heaven she knows only Joy
And
her laughter fills the air.

chose the song you're listening to -
'Let's
Just Praise The Lord'
for
this page because that's just what
mama
loved to do when she was living
on
this earth.
