LOST
Somewhere
in Nebraska
Lived
a wayward boy of ten
He
never got a spanking
And
his life was filled with sin..
Yonder
in Kentucky
Was
a little girl of eight
Her
mother never cared enough
So
she would grow to hate.
Deep
down in the Everglades
There
lived a child of five
His
parents were too lazy
For
to teach him rules of life.
Down
in Louisiana
Use
to be a boy of two
It
started at an early age
Those
'hissy-fits' he threw.
When
over in Wisconsin
Lived
a girl of seventeen
She
was never disciplined
-The
saddest life I've seen.
Deep
in the heart of Texas
Was
a boy of six years old
Too
bad he was n ever taught
-
Never did what he was told.
Somewhere
in Alabama
Stood
a girl of twenty-one
She
cried herself to sleep each night-
For
she'd had too much 'fun'.
There
in Mississippi
Lived
a lost young lad of nine
Who
wished his parents loved him-
But
they never had the time.
I
've seen so many children
Who
are lost among the crowd
They
rule their homes with mischief
And
their parents are not proud.
The
public schools are teaching
Some
things we know is wickedness
And
now some books of witchcraft
Which
have spread unGodliness.
What
are our children reading....
About
wizards every day ?
And
then some wonder sadly
Why
their children go astray.
Oh
we must say a prayer
For
the parents who are blind
And
pray they meet dear Jesus-
Who
is Saviour of mankind.
When
mom and dad are Christians,
And
their hearts with God are right;
The
Bible will instruct them....
And
will dry those tears each night.

Timothy: 4 : 3 -4
Verse
3: For the time will come
when
they will not endure
sound
doctrine;
but
after their own lusts shall
they
heap to themselves
teachers,
having itching ears.
Verse
4: And they shall turn away
their
ears from the truth, and
shall
be turned unto fables.
