I HEAR
THE RIVER CALLING
I
hear the River calling
To
my heart inside of me
It's
telling me about You
And
Your handiwork I see.
The
way You made the Rivers
Flowing
gently to and fro
I
look upon the River
Oh
Your Hand was there, I know.
The
ripples on the water
From
the deep to shallow end
They
tell so many stories
Of
the fishermen within.
I
look upon the River
And
I see my Father's Face
The
current softly whispers
'Bout
a calming, peaceful place.
I
know You are responsible
For
beauty on this earth
For
every drop of water
For
the miracle of Birth.
I
could not paint a picture
That
would measure up to You
Or
tell about the beauty
Of
a landscape or a view.
Dear
Father up in Heaven
How
I thank You for it all
I
thank You for the Rivers
For
the ripples, big and small.
I
thank You for the Mountains
And
the hills that I have climbed
The
day that I see Heaven
Yes,
will happen when it's time.
I'm
thankful for the teardrops
Those
I've shed to make me strong
Thank
You for the Promise
Of
that precious Trumpet Song !
The
Carpentry majestic
Oh
the Master, He can Build
From
nothing He hath molded
Once
an empty heart now filled.
I
hear the River calling
To
my heart inside of me
It's
telling me about You
And
Your handiwork I see.
