IT'S
TRUE,
I
HAVE NO WINGS
It's
true I have no halo,
And
it's true I have no wings
My
Bible has not told me
That
I'll ever have these things.
Now
when I get to Heaven,
I
don't know that I will 'fly'
With
wings just like the angels
In
my mansion in the sky.
Though
if I died tomorrow,
Yes
my soul would leave this earth
I'd
go to be with Jesus
Just
because of my ReBirth !
No
I would not be returning,
Not
until the Reign begins
When
we saints return with Jesus,
After
Tribulation ends.
And
when the thousand years
Of
earthly reign with Christ is done
We
saints shall live in Heaven
With
God's Only Begotten Son.
Now
when I kneel in prayer
I
don't pray to angels then
Nor
to saints, and not to Mary,
But
to Christ alone, my friend.
The
angels were created,
Long
before both you and I
My
son is not an angel
Tho'
he lives up in the sky.
I
know my Father's angels
Do
not flutter all about
While
dressed in lustly fashion
Or
with bosoms hanging out.
My
mother joined our Saviour,
When
her earthly death occured
And
there is not a doubt
That
not one sorrow reaches her.
No
I don't wear a halo,
And
no wings are promised me
Let's
be careful what we write
Because
God's Word may not agree.
I
love my precious sisters
For
in Christ, I know I should
But
I won't make up 'stories'
Just
to make them all feel good.
My
Bible speaks of angels,
And
I'm thankful for God's Word
But
friend don't add to Scripture
So
to feed your own accord.
We
humans are not angels,
And
we're never going to be
If
you think yourself an angel
It's
not pleasing God, you see.
I've
seen some paint the angels
In
half-naked sinful dress
From
fiction and to fantasy -
To
me, a sinful mess.
There
is a form of worship,
That
I've seen throughout the net
Let's
focus on SALVATION
For
the Lost souls, don't forget.
Yes
it's true I have no halo,
And
it's true I have no wings
As
for worshipping the angels,
Leave
me out of all those things.

Colossians
2: Verse 18 :
Let
no man beguile you of your reward in a
voluntary
humility and worshipping of
angels,
intruding into those things which
he
hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his
fleshly
mind.
Hebrews
1: Verses 3 - 6 :
Who
being the brightness of his glory, and
the
express image of his person, and upholding all
things
by the word of his power, when he had by
himself
purged our sins, sat down on the right
hand
of the Majesty on high; Being made so
much
better than the angels, as he hath by
inheritance
obtained a more excellent name
than
they, For unto which of the angels said he
at
any time, Thou art my Son, this day have
I
begotten thee? And again, I will be to him
a
Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And
again,
when he bringeth in the firstbegotten
into
the world, he saith, And let all the
angels
of God worship him.
Psalms
8: Verses 4 - 5 :
What
is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and
the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For
thou hast made him a little lower than
the
angels, and hast crowned him with glory
and
honor.

Timothy 5: Verses 21 - 22 :
I
charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus
Christ,
and the elect angels, that thou observe
these
things without preferring one before
another,
doing nothing by partiality. Lay
hands
suddenly on no man, neither be
partaker
of other men's sins; keep thyself pure.
Job
38: Verses 4 - 7 :
Where
wast thou when I laid the foundations
of
the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Who
hath laid the measures thereof, if thou
knowest?
or who hath stretched the line
upon
it? Whereupon are the foundations
thereof
fastened? or who laid the corner stone
thereof;
When the morning stars sang together,
and
all the sons of God shouted for Joy?
Revelation
22: Verses 8 - 9:
And
I John saw these things, and heard them.
And
when I had heard and seen, I fell down
to
worship before the feet of the angel which
shewed
me these things. Then saith he
unto
me, See thou do it not; for
I am thy
fellowservant,
and of thy brethren the
prophets,
and of them which keep the sayings
of
this book; worship God.

Timothy 2: Verse 5 :
For
there is one God, and one mediator
between
God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Corinthians 6: Verse 3 :
Know
ye not that we shall judge angels? How
much
more things that pertain to this life?
Luke
24: Verses 3 - 4 :
And
they entered in, and found not the body
of
the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as
they
were much perplexed, thereabout, behold,
two
men stood by them in shining garments.
Judges
13: Verses 17 - 18 :
And
Manoah said unto the angel of the
Lord,
What is thy name, that when thy sayings
come
to pass we may do thee honour? And the
angel
of the Lord said unto him, Why askest
thou
thus after my name, seeing it is secret?
