I'M
DIGGING IN MY
GARDEN
I'm
digging in my garden
With
my Bible for my tool
I
pray that seeds are planted
'
Got so many weeds to pull.
I've
planted rows of tulips
For
each Lost soul I have shown
The
way to true Salvation
Oh,
so few the flowers sown.
My
first row shall be onions
Those
so smelly and so white
-
Each time I make excuses
I
shall take another bite !
My
second row Tomatoes
Plump
and juicy, red with seed
With
water a reminder
Of
those thirsty souls in need.
The
third shall be the berries
All
the reds but never blues
So
berry, berry joyful
When
I spread the Gospel News !
The fourth, a row of turnips
And
the rest shall be the squash
For
hearts of many sinners
Those
that died without a 'Wash'.
I'm digging in my garden
Yes
I've gathered up the hoe
I'll
pull out all the weeds
-
Get on my knees to make it grow.
