DEAR
LORD
Dear
Lord I'm here this morning,
Little
sister at my side
I've
come to talk to You again
With
tears that I have cried.
You
see, I have a question -
Dear
Lord, I don't understand
How
come so many turn away
When
You Hold out Your Hand ?
Oh
why can't some just realize
That
Jesus loves them so
And
why does this world get the best
Of
some folks that I know ?
The
TV shows got wicked,
Not
much left that would please You
The
atheists are winning in
The
Public Schools now too.
Now
I have heard some music
That
some people say is good
'Contemporary
Gospel' , Lord
But
run from it, I should.
There
is a lot of talk about
'Philosophies'......
'New Age'
'Self
Esteem' and 'Tolerance'
Becoming
all 'the rage'.
Men
have changed the Bible
Love
to add and take away
But
they will know Your Scriptures when
They
stand on Judgement Day.
Dear
Lord it makes me sad
Some
Christians won't stand up for You
They
don't care about the Truth
But
they love this world, they do.
I
don't understand how come
Your
Ten Commandments fell
A
good Judge tried to keep them up
When
wicked men chose hell.
Bingo
played for money,
And
the Lottery, we've got
Oh
Lord please keep me strong
-
Yes away from all that lot.
Some
movies men are making
In
my heart I know are wrong
But
You know all Your Sheep by name
And
which ones don't Belong.
Lord,
I've heard some awful lies
And
I've seen so many stray
Because
they won't take time to search
The
Scriptures every day.
Dear
Lord, how I love You,
You're
the only Friend I need
I
pray that You will help me
Lord
to plant just one small seed.
Dear
Lord, what this world LOVES
Is
always a sure sign, You see
That
it's something You WON'T like
-
I'll keep it seperate from me.
Lord
I know You're watching
And
one day we're gonna hear
That
trumpet sound up in the sky
When
You dry my every tear.
I've
got my King James Bible
I
Believe Your every Word
Help
me Lord to witness to
Lost
souls who have not heard.
I
know I've failed You many times
But
I try to seek the Truth
Within
Your Holy Word, dear Lord
In
everything I do.

Matthew
10: 34 :
Think
not that I am come to send peace
on
earth;
I came not to send peace, but
a sword.
